Scarinci Hollenbeck was founded in 1988 with six lawyers in Totowa, NJ. Donald’s vision was to create a think- tank environment that brought together the best minds and talent to solve client problems. Donald focused attention on client service and emphasized the attitude that it is the highest honor and privilege for a client to select a lawyer as his advocate. Donald’s founding philosophy — that people work at their best when they do what they love—still contributes to the collegial, family environment of a much larger law firm today.
Scarinci Hollenbeck was a pioneer in law firm technology and management. Within two years of its beginning, Scarinci Hollenbeck was ranked by a prominent national consulting firm to be in the upper 5% of technology users in NJ law firms. The firm also pioneered the strategy of using professional, non-lawyer management, thereby allowing lawyers to focus on their practice and their legal skills. The law firm’s partners concentrate their efforts on producing quality work and results for their clients.
